It happened on the 600 block of State Avenue around 8:45 p.m., he wrote. Peyton E. Hyndman, a 22-year-old Emmaus resident, collided with another vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.

The cause of death was listed as multiple traumatic injuries and the manner of death was ruled accidental, he added.

Around 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Salisbury Township police warned of a "serious motor vehicle accident" in the area near State Avenue and warned drivers to avoid the scene.

It's not clear if anyone else was injured in the crash. The accident remains under investigation by Salisbury police and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office, Buglio added.
